"I'm sure it was a fin..."

Today we drove to Beziers to deposit darling son number 2 on the plane back to the UK. It is becoming a quite well-trod route for us. We arrived at the airport - a grand word for what is actually there -with time to spare so went to the local beach. The hinterland was pretty dreadful but the beach itself was OK.
Tricia and I returned on various smaller roads following the coast for a while and were surprised at several quite attractive small corners we found on the way. Also dropped in on Sommieres after Montpellier which is a really pretty little market town on the Vidourle that we know relatively well. Either way however it was six hours or a bit more in the car and so was quite a long day.
