Cold Nose

Walked in Pollok Park this afternoon - the Highland Cattle were pushing their noses through the snow to get to the grass. They are certainly dressed for the weather.

The River Cart is frozen over - the first time I have ever seen this. It was getting dark by the time we got to the weir, but I did have my first go trying to photograph the water on manual, with the camera resting on the wall. I had some success - I wish to improve before posting my first attempt. I felt quite the novice beside the "pros" with tripods, very long lenses and classy camera gear.
