Sven the Ladybird...

Is it just me or were ladybirds a lot more prevalent 20+ years ago? I've seen a couple this year but none so far as I can remember in the last couple of years. If I was a concluding man, I'd probably go with some climate shift causing it or something.

We found this one on the dog walk earlier and it has been captured and christened Sven in honour of the caterpillar that was lost in play park shenanigans.

Aside from that, the day has been mostly about rainbow loom bands. We don't have an actual loom in the house so I concocted one from an bit of an old skateboard and some nails. Works a treat although is a bit nippy.
