Hot, hot, hot!
Well, it reached 35 degrees today - phew! So hot. Booked a trip today by coach into Montenegro - took ages to get through the border.
We travelled to Risan first to look at some Roman mosaics, then on to Perast where this photo was taken. A lovely little village. A ferry then took us to a small man made island called Our Lady of the Rock which has a rich history.
We then stopped off in Kotor and had a drink, ice cream and free time to walk around although it was so hot! Saw a Guernsey registered yacht moored in the harbour but no-one was on board.
After three hours there, a ferry took us across the sea to the other side of the water and made our way back to Cavtat. Temperature still 28 degrees at 6pm.
No snakes today thank goodness!
Had our meal at the hotel and walked into the town for our regular coffee and watch the world go by. Lovely. A very warm wind is blowing this evening, like a hair dryer!
