Maternal Instinct

Our cat was hit by a car last night she was badly injured and just to add to the problems she has 3 tiny 3 week old kittens. Amazingly she is still hanging in there and apparently stabilising unlike me as the life is draining out of me every time the vet rings up to tell us the latest balance of the vet bill.
We got the kittens out and instantly Maisie our chocolate lab started to mother them protecting them licking them and even letting them suckle her. Isn't nature incredible!!!
Plans to go indoor skydiving today in Milton Keynes went ahead still and it was brilliant a wonderful feeling flying!! Oh and the vet just rang and said the cat has just eaten something ££££££££££
