An early morning stroll in village meadows, OK, an early morning wade through the long grass while Hilary, David & friends had coffee in a local cafe. "There are lots of orchids in those fields" .... only I was about a month late. There were lots of butterflies though, including these fritillaries, doing what butterflies do in the long grass!

A great hike later, very hot again so we did not stay out too long .... just six hours. Flowers, scenery and more butterflies here
