Green Army

A hard day of games in hot conditions and occasional rain. Some good games, some could have been better. We drew against Oxford, lost against Bareback Riders and drew with a french team in our pool, putting us in the bowl competition. We won our first, lost our second and won our third, leaving us placing third. A bit of a shame as I think we could have performed better in the second game and got into the final, but that's how it goes! A good day of touch was then followed by a good social, with our theme being the team name "Green Army". We held court on the grounds and had a BBQ provided by the tournament organizers. A lot of beverages were consumed.
