Proud catch!

This bird, which I think it is a "common grackle" (Quiscalus quiscula) -- if anyone knows better please correct me, secured a nice bit of prey coming, I believe, from the lake. The bird remained on that tree branch for at least 10 minutes, not budging, not eating, just protecting its prey from a number of other grackles around it dying to steal it from him (or her?)
