There's Some Weather on the Way

It was such a beautifully sunny evening that I just had to get outside and absorb the sights, sounds and smells of the countryside near my home. I pottered about for a blissful couple of hours in the warm sunshine and lengthening shadows. But then, at around half past seven, a massive bank of grey cloud formed on the horizon signalling the end of this weekend's wonderful weather. Moments after I took this photo the sun sank behind the thick cloud and it quickly turned gloomy and chilly.

Once home, I wasn't at all surprised to find that there's heavy rainfall forecast for tonight.
