Wossy
Went through to Edinburgh to watch the Gumball Rally 3000 today. Was complete chaos. I think they really under estimated how many people would turn out.
Cars were delayed at Prestwick by about an hour, then because of the crowds and the sheer number of idiotic muppets who stood in the middle of traffic in princess street (with Busses and Trams & taxis still running!), the cops called in reinforcements, some more barriers were put up and the route was sensibly altered to go down Princess Street instead of up Hanover street as originally planned., which was a putty as i was perfectly placed for head on shots of the cars departing.
Never mind, relocated quickly and still managed to capture several hundred shots, just put 150 up on facebook.
Lots of shots ruined today by go-pro-prix and their little cameras on poles being shoved out into traffic, ruining the shot for anyone behind them. Probably captured crap anyway in the 1 second they had to trust it into traffic & take a shot & retrieve before the cars drove over it, so why do these guys bother? I was getting pretty grumphy after a couple of hours of that and the amount of ignorant/rude people who walk further and further out onto the road infront of others so they can get a shot on their little blackberry/iphone and to hell with anyone behind them. Bit my tongue and said nothing though as in the end Karma will get round to dealing with the inconsiderate little oiks ;)
This is Jonathan Ross and son Harvey driving a yellow Lamborghini he rented. Part of the delay in them departing was apparently because of Wossy taking 30 minutes to reset the car after locking the steering.
