MonoMonday: Mailbox

I took Mailbox to mean post box rather than letter box, and this is a very old one near us in the village of Scissett. It's in the side wall of what was an old mill, and is GR rather than ER. It is also the same colour in mono as in life - it's the only black mailbox I've ever seen. Shame it is now disused...
The theme also got me thinking about the huge strides in communication over the last 40 years. When I was at Uni it was pre house phones for all, never mind mobiles! If you didn't make your weekend arrangements early, that was you out of the loop ( and you actually wrote proper letters home and to friends on a regular basis ). I used to love my fountain pen...
