Ballindalloch Castle

There has been a castle here on this site since 1546 and in the ownership of the MacPherson-Grant family throughout. It is the home of the current owners, Clare and Oliver Russell and a tour is more personalised than most. The gardens are lovely and there are riverside walks. Our Botanical Illustration group went today and sat in the sun to paint and draw in the walled gardens, grounds and on the terraces.
