I've still got half a Christmas cake left, which isn't good news for the hips. It wasn't a very nice cake this year for some reason - I've made the recipe previous years and even wrote on the recipe that it was a nice moist cake, but this year it doesn't taste great and so it's not getting eaten. I can't bear to throw it away though.

I should be able to go to work tomorrow as the forecast seems a bit better this week. Fortunately, a friend is going to drive so I don't have to worry about negotiating the slippery car park the other end.
