Lower Stapple Gate Field after being cut
I did not have an awful lot of inspiration today for a picture. I paid Itchingfield a very brief visit and found the usual field had been cut and thought after a week it would make an interesting comparison. I think it is likely that the crop taken off the field was silage rather than hay as the grass was still very green and succulent rather than drier and going to seed when hay is usually made.
Not a good day today - I absolutely hate heat and humidity at any time and it was a struggle throughout. I refuse point blank to like it just because everyone else does and for some people, it can cause genuine health problems. My mother's breathing hasn't been too good today and I have heat rash on my arm which itches at night which has gone on since the middle of last month. This always happens in the same place and varies from year to year. Hopefully there will be some relief this week!
