bye bye or better betty

only took a few pics today of betty bike.
last week i tried out a full susser up at llandegla and was amazed at the difference, i then tried out my nephews reasonably cheap hardtail and even that took the rough better than betty.

as much as i love her her forks have had it, her brakes squeal like a banshee and her gears slip around. she had bits replaced, been tuned and refitted but sadly seems to get no better .. so what i'm trying to say is she has had it, she needs to retire. tonight i dismantled her and she may re-appear as a bit of a roadie/runanround but the fund has finally started for a new off road machine .
