After all the rain

The famous, most photographed, waterfalls at Fairbrook on the northern approach to Kinder Scout in the Peak District.

Its always worth the effort to walk up the narrow path towards Kinder at Fairbrook. Beware its a bit precarious in places and also it was very muddy today. Most people don't get past this waterfall especially if they have read any book about the area or have just bought a new camera or lens to test.

No great numbers of birds but a beautiful Grey Wagtail family with adults feeding 3 youngsters
