Whit Monday in the woods

Very strange weather today, a deluge and much lightning without noticeable thunder in the night, then very hot and humid, then deluge again. In the hot interlude we did one of the wood walks, probably the best place to be when it's really hot (not that I'm complaining, I like warmth)

Today's picture shows husband and son no 2 far in front :-) And that is the end of our long weekend, now I've got to focus on sorting out the guest room before my mother arrives for a visit from Thursday
