Voyeurism ?

Another morning spent around the garden pond which is absolutely hoaching with damsel flies.

I settled beside the pond with a good book , a tray of juice to keep me cool in the very, very warm sunshine and the seating arranged to give me a good view of the area around the pond. Needlesst o say , I didn't get much reading done.

So many tiny insects on the leafy plants but the damsel flies antics caught my attention. The females led the males a merry dance from plant to plant . I caught this pair settled on a dark acer, thought I'd share them with you, I loved all the intricate detail on the head and body which I think might be well worth a look at in the large view.
