Manic Monday

Jules has gone back to Yorkshire for a few days to look after her Mum who has been in hospital today. She had a nightmare trip up there... what with a hail storm and an accident that closed the A1 for two hours....today can't have been much fun for her Mum either. Anyway they are both back at Binbags house and all seems to be well. Back here at home, Sal is missing her Mum and has already decided she's in with me tonight.

For me, work is getting busier as the silly season starts to kick in which is very exciting and draining at the same time....

Rik Mayall has died today.... I remember staying up late to watch The Young Ones as a kid not much older than J&K are now... and the time my Dad said I wasn't allowed to watch it because he thought the episode title 'Sick' was actually a review.....well it was and we loved it!
