Dolly Rocks

I know that I have disappointed Goateebooknerd hugely by not blipping an actual 'Dolly ' shot, but I couldn't resist this.

I bought B tickets for a Dolly Parton gig at Liverpool's Echo Arena for her Birthday (we are on holiday when she plays London) and tonight was the night.
All I can say is Ms Parton puts on a darn good show; she was in fine fettle - the voice, the glittering fringing - amazing.

It was quite something to witness 20,000 people take to their feet as one as the first few bars of Islands in the Stream rang out. We loved it.

It was so warm and still when we left the arena, the Albert dock stunning.

I'm sorry Dolly lost out to the Liverpool skyline (sort of) but this sight is one not often seen, by me at least.
