Iris under window

It was beautiful very early this morning but the clouds appeared quickly and then it rained and rained the rest of the day. I took this photo early evening in the front garden. By eight pm it was dry enough to go for a walk in the park. The bird song was terrific and the hue of the plants perfect. Glad I went out.
