Grubs Up
I watched a fascinating piece on Springwatch last week that showed that a garden have up to 30 separate blackbirds visiting it, but you would have no idea as it is so difficult to the spot different birds with a simple glance.
I know there are at least 2 males and a single female visiting my garden as I have worked out where one nest is by watching the birds fight pattern after they leave the garden. This is one of the nesting individuals that had found a rather tasty looking grub in the grass, nothing I had put down.
It's been a quiet day ... which makes a change after recent exploits!
