Photo noir

Last of the week's selfies then – taken at a charity disco in the KUSI club in Kirkcaldy. Cheap drink aplenty! Won a bottle of M&S champagne in the raffle and then our team also won the music quiz (20 x name the artist and song from the intro). Decided to play around with the edit stuff on the iPhone as the photo was quite dark to start with. Also makes a change from the rest of the weeks red faces! This is the noir option.

Tumbled home at about 1.15am to find J still up watching TV. Sent Al the following four texts:

So hungry

There is baguette. I must eat it.

I have drunk sc vodka and like and lemonade in the taxi

Am in bed but ffu face. Are we going to event tonooeje


Of course I did not remember this until he phoned in the morning and asked what time we were meeting to go to “tonooeje”. I had to ask him to repeat this a few times before saying “Are you actually speaking English?” and he then told me that's what I'd written in the text. So I went and checked then to see what else I had said. Had I eaten the leftover bit of baguette from yesterday's dinner? I didn't remember doing that. Went downstairs and there was no baguette there. Asked J later on “Did I eat some baguette last night when I came home?”. Yes, apparently I had, and just as it came, no butter or anything on it. Still it seemed to have done the trick for I didn't feel as bad as I expected come the morning!
