19. Haddon Hall

We visited Haddon Hall today and it was a real delight. I've been to quite a few stately homes but this one had real character. We picked the perfect day too. It was rainy in the morning and when the sun came out in the afternoon, while we were there, few people were around. It was tough to decide on a photo, as I took many and it really is a beautiful place - but I settled on this shot. It's not really what you'd expect, but it captures the mystery of the place for me, and the combination of old and natural. |||
