Peony

In celebration of summer here is a studio shot I did of a double blossom Peony. The origins of this photo was interesting I was at an event and the spot light on a flower arrangement peaked my vision, the direct overhead light just lit up the petals of the flower, I tried to recreate the look and feel right then, alas it did not work. So I was able to get the same flower and get the vision recorded in the studio by using a single strobe with a soft box.
