Mail boxes mono Monday
Ok with much better boxers being blipped I was forced to stick with boxes.
I walk every night now. It's a lot of fun. ok so still lying down around the corner of the block I saw these mailboxes, one with a nine. Yee haw Molly. Blip done.
Do you know what happens when you go around the very quiet neighborhood taking pictures of mailboxes? Or better yet, stopping , look at them skootch down to try to get a different angle, then shake your head and move on? No really, guess.
I have become "that woman" in the neighborhood.
You know the little eccentric one that lives on the corner. The only thing missing is a tinfoil hat and an umbrella.
Anyway......I keep adding to my walk hoping that I will log more steps. I am running out of time during the day. This week is nuts. Dad has drs appointments, I have a rehearsal, honor night from work(I am being feted along with a bunch of other people because I have been there for 3o years.) a gig, another rehearsal, a wedding reception, and another gig on Sunday.
I have to work in a time to walk. I have a hard task master. Lunch may be the big winner. I may be able to use the potty Thursday at 10 am and eat on Friday. I exaggerate......I can eat on Wednesday.
I thought of you all on Sunday when I got trapped in my camera strap and couldn't get out. I had my straw hat with a long string, ( I would like to say green just to drive Supertramp nuts but it was faded blue. Suck it up it's traveling with me ), a camera bag, and my camera itself on top of it all. I then found it necessary to remove my hat from my head and pop it down my back. I almost choked myself. Thank God Patty is a nurse and able to giggle and think at the same time. It was a bad comedy act unwrapping me. People stopped and watched as we were laughing and untangling this mass of three things.
I had a friend once who used to look at me shake her head and say "it takes a village". No it doesn't, just a friend a nurse and someone that can think fast. If you are really lucky, it can be the same person. I so am.
Good night and to my friends down under... G'day mates. ( yup reading about Australia)
Oh and a postscript .....it is against the law to take a picture in a post office so I was told. By the way that was one scaaaaaary lady. I thanked her, and ran like hell left the post office.
