Mailbox Quartet

This is for the Mono Monday Challenge: mailboxes. As I walked around, I saw mailboxes made of masonry, metal, plastic, and wood. There were small, medium, and large boxes. They were charming, quaint, pretentious, and utilitarian. Inside them were bills, condolences, correspondence, invitations, junk, notices, and solicitations. The contents of our mailbox provide us with both incredibly joyful and unbearably said news. We never know what the day's mail will bring us.
