Learning from Mama

I've been out most of the day, but did manage a few minutes of photography at Lake Padden around noon, where I spotted this attentive mother Mallard and her twins.

One of them was watching her carefully as she groomed her feathers; the other seemed more interested in taking a nap.

Tuesday will be less busy for me, and I'll catch up with you then!
