Coming home to old friends...

Dear Diary,

I may have missed most of my daffodils, and all of my lilacs but I haven't missed my old friends the dragon flies! Seeing them hovering, like helicopters, policing the property for various insects, is something I look forward to each year.

It is very had to photograph a dragon fly but this is a stain glass piece in my sitting room with dragon flies...it will have to do. This piece was given to me on my retirement four years ago. It catches the morning light beautifully...good memories.
