Ticket to Ride

It’s one of those special days that only comes round once a year. Unless you happen to be a Monarch when you might get more than one.

There’s a card (described as ‘manly’) and a couple of train tickets. First Class. I had a rant about First Class when we went to London from MK on Sunday; people standing in the rest of the train, while First Class was empty.

I look more closely at the tickets; Newcastle to Durham return. Now we live a good few hundred miles from both Newcastle and Durham so I’m intrigued to say the least. I guess it’s not for today then. “No”.
