A Very Danish Family

The Carlsberg family, historically speaking, always remind me of the Cadbury family in social & economic historical terms, in as much as they used their money to provide "better" working conditions and accommodation close to the factory. These buildings are protected and will remain after the current renovations are complete... but this light and these buildings will be obscured soon by new developments.

The welfare system in place here today may date back to WW II but the idea had been kicking around a while already by then.
