Rainy day at Versailles

Today was not the best day to go visit a 2 mile long formal garden. Our class went to Versailles this morning while it was pouring rain. I was disappointed because I have learned about Versailles in my LA history class and every image I saw were on beautiful days. I still walked all around the estate and got some great pictures. The scale of the palace and garden are the largest I have visited before. There was an orchestra playing classical music while I was experiencing the gardens. I hope to visit one day again when the weather is not bad.
