The heron is sitting on the no fishing sign again - this time it looked like he had just finished eating a fish and was drying out his wings. He is still very wary of people. The ducks moved to protect the two ducklings in case I got too close. This was on my way to work and the heron caught my eye on the way past - stopped on yellow lines and confused the drivers behind me!

It's been a strange day - I have learnt how difficult it is to work with translation involved. We had a large contingent of Russians in for a meeting and it was slow at times waiting for the translation to be completed. When I worked with a translator before, he was translating to Spanish and I got to the stage I understood the technical details of the project in Spanish therefore could stop the translator adding too much information or deciding what he thought was best.

Tomorrow's another day - what will it throw at me?
