Baby Blackbird

We've been watching two blackbirds going in and out of the garden's side hedge for a couple of weeks. This evening from the foot of the garden up popped this baby blackbird to land on the tree.

Have we missed the departure of the others? Could this be an only fledgling? Is it from the same nest or a previously undiscovered one at the foot of the garden? Who knows!

It is a delight to see this one, though
