An oldie, but a goodie!
Day Four took us to the lovely garden at Carnell, near Hurlford in Ayrshire, famous for its long herbaceous borders, though we were a little early for them. The current house dates from 1843, an addition to the original 16th century tower house.
The garden is only occasionally open to the public and we were shown round by the owner, Mr Findlay-Hamilton.
During the afternoon we went on to Dumfries House, but we're only allowed one Blip per day!
