Sunset in the bush
I don't actually know how I managed this shot - I was stood on top of a chair in a not slow moving jeep, trying to dodge peoples heads and work out the lighting.
Got up super early for our 1st ever safari and were rewarded with elephants, giraffes and two lions on their honeymoon (i,e. mating). It was such lovely scenery too - there was far more trees than I'd imagined.
During the day C and I went to explore the surroundings and found some funny little koala type animals sitting on rocks, dodged a bat which had been woken up by the gardening and practised our photography skills on the plentiful supply of lizards. Then we went for a swim, read our books and prepared for safari no.2 which was equally as good - with crocodiles, hippos and waterbuffalo to add to our sightings.
