The new fence is finished

It seems strange now but I was totally against putting up a fence across the garden. I liked the big picture, the wide views and did not want them interrupted by a fence.
well now its up, it goes from the corner of the house to the front hedge and it looks really good. Yes it divides the garden but this is an enhancement, not a negative. We now have a defined flower garden and separate "play" garden. The house looks to sit better in the plot as the new fence makes a frame. and the flowers and stones on the drive are safe from marauding dogs and grandson grandchildren.
