What. A. Day.

There are some truly messed up people out there.

Today I returned to my car in town and was met by a parking attendant who had witnessed my car being hit and then a policeman who informed me the other driver had been arrested because on the breathalyser she blew 120 and the legal limit is 35!
It seems she has no insurance either, not that my insurance company can find anyway.
Thankfully the damage to my car is minimal and doesn't stop me using the car, but I can't help thinking what if she had got out of that car park without hitting my (and another) car or if the attendant hadn't been there to see it and called police?
How far would she have got before she hit a pedestrian? Or caused a serious accident? It was 2:30 in the afternoon, the schools start to come out at 3.

I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason and hopefully the damage to my car happened to save something far, far worse from happening today.
