A piece of cake.

A graduation party needs a lot of preparing. The day didn't start out very good, I made two recipes of french macarons but something went wrong in the baking and both recipes where ruined. They tasted fine but didn't look right, I'll have to give it another try tomorrow, I googled the problem and is seems I didn't use the correct egg whites (don't buy pasteurized egg whites with preservatives if you're planning on baking French macarons). I went out for awhile (to rest) and started baking again when I got home. 2 big meringue cakes are now in the freezer and those beautiful heart shaped cookies with pink decor on the table. Not a bad harvest at the end of the day.
