THE COLOR PURPLE

The incredibly beautiful purple flowers were EVERYWHERE we went, and as you may be able to tell from this image, they are also HUGE. These particular bushes were up to the second story of the home they surrounded. Some are light purple, some like these medium and other very dark. I was told that has to do with the acidity of the soil. In any event, they certainly add a lot of color to that part of New England.
