Ring of Fire

This is a zinnia and I'm growing it because the butterflies like it. I say "growing it" - they look pretty much as they did when I put them in the ground two weeks ago. No butterflies yet either - but lots of mosquitoes! They have made themselves right at home in the butterfly patch. Come to think of it, they probably always lived there - it's me trying to make myself at home in the mosquito patch.
