coffee or ice cream?

Todays priority had to be cleaning jobs around the house. Decided at 2 o'clock that I'd done enough to justify a walk before returning to make a quiche for tea.

I'd just parked the car at Rydal when it started raining. I'm not one for sitting in the car waiting for the weather to improve so moved on to Grasmere where there would be shelter. 

Not many photo opportunities (or I was unobservant) so here's a very ordinary shot of visitors at two of the many food outlets in the village.
