Alpiniste Hund

This was the name M gave to our dog today as she scaled her way up another couple of peaks: Hinderugg and Chässerrugg. After an excellent meal and a solid night's sleep in a great mountain guest house, we all set off for day 2 of our trip. The lake in the picture is called Walensee and looked very appealing on a hot day like today. The temperatures are due to rise even more tomorrow. It was a round trip today with plenty of snow fields to cross on the way, and the wild flowers were yet again magnificent.
