Stretching His Wings

I called at Needham Lake this afternoon and noticed this swan elegantly gliding across the lake, when he arrived at the lake edge he started submerging his head and neck under water and then suddenly he stretched his whole body up and shook his wings out in slow motion. I really like the detail and texture of the wing feathers and how graceful these large birds are in water.

I'm late blipping this one as I've had real problems with my laptops, my 'proper' laptop decided to go wrong the day before we went on holiday, so I've got someone looking at that and this one that I've had for just a year on the 14th June got in a loop with windows updates and I've just been to PC World where a very nice gentleman did a recovery of the hard drive but I've had to reinstall some programmes. So much for technology, but I he did imply that I should exercise more patience - now what's that I wonder.
