Pararge aegeria (aka Speckled Wood)
The 1st I have spotted this year, along the less well manicured part of the Argory riverbank. It did not stay long enough on the nettles to get a well focused blip, unfortunately.
It lives up to what they say about it’s preferred habitat:
Woodland rides and glades, gardens, parks and hedgerows. It seems to prefer slightly damp areas where there is tall grass and some shade.
I would say our weather must suit it perfectly.
