Sea Flora

In Victorian times the collection and pressing of seaweeds was a popular activity, particularly by botanists eager to identify new species. This specimen is part of an exhibition of beautiful seaweeds that have been collected, pressed and mounted by Sara Dodd. All come from the east coast of Scotland between Aberlady and Dunbar.
