Stepping out

I saw this little lady in the middle of a corn field on my way to work. As this was my second snapping turtle in as many weeks, I did some research and found that they are usually only seen when they come on land to lay their eggs - otherwise they stay in the water. I actually saw a turtle in the same spot a couple of years ago, but have no idea if this is the same one. How a turtle can make me so happy is another question entirely.
