Let the dreams begin

It's like Xmas Eve. We've all been waiting for this for months. Tomorrow, I wake up to watch either a spectacular, or a disaster, in more ways than one. Living in Vancouver, every nation in the competition has its supporters. There'll be flags flying from cars, and huge parties on Commercial Avenue whenever Spain, Portugal or Brazil play. In fact, those parties attract people who barely know that footballs are round.

If you haven't seen this already, here's a highly entertaining lambasting of FIFA by John Oliver, not to be missed. Ah well. Until tomorrow....
