Let the enlightenment begin.

This is my desk.

I've signed up for some Microsoft Certification training through a corporate training company up in Portland. I'll be able to take my classes from home over the inter-web. After about six weeks and 9 grand, I hope to have an MCITP certification with a specialization in Windows Server & Network Administration.

I've wanted to do this for a long time but haven't had the money or the time. This represents a big step for me in my carreer. Everyone I know has been so supportive. One of my inlaws that works as a network admin even offered to loan me a few machines and gave me access to his software library so I'll have everything I need to study and complete my certs. I'm excited.

I want to provide a better life for my family. I'm gonna start with this.
