PTA gathering

I was thrilled to welcome some of the PTA from the boys' school today, they came to visit DB and enjoy some good cheer with me.

These are my guests, what a jolly bunch. They were so happy and couldn't wait to tuck into the food. Stephen, the gentleman in the centre is a dear friend and a member of the PTA and he drove some of the ladies (from HK side) around DB in his golf cart, to get a feel for it.

These ladies are the ones who rope me in to running the cake stall at the school fairs. I've gotten to know some of them quite well. Also in the pic on the extreme left, is my buddy Cecilia, let's just say my life has been made richer since she arrived in DB.

A very enjoyable afternoon and I'm so glad that they were game to start the proceedings with some sparkling rose!

I really want to stay up and watch the World Cup opening ceremony, but I really don't think I'll last :( I love World Cup football. It's the best. Just been watching the news and am saddened by the protests in São Paulo, how in the world are they going to fix this???
